Hello, does anyone have a one piece gold habaki for sale?

You do know habakis are made for each sword. Chances of it fitting are slim.

No, definitely not for scrap. I've always wanted a fine gold habaki, just for study.

I currently have a gold layered on copper habaki. I have no desire to fit it to any blade, merely to appreciate it.

The melt value of a solid gold habaki would be roughly $500 assuming high purity and a weight about 1/3 oz at a spot price of about $1280 per oz.

I thought we were talking about habaki. Apologies if I misunderstood but have had the $2-3k solid gold habaki price mentioned by a US dealer and a friend who had one made in Japan separately (so, from two reliable sources)

I saw a very very nice kinkise habaki and seppa set, sadly I didn't take the pictures for reference, but all was mostly crazy file work.
I have a not so bad kinkise set here, but really far from this level.
Just to say, I fully understand interest for nice habaki.
