AnAmNeSiS Posted September 2, 2017 Report Posted September 2, 2017 Hello all, I am currently building up my reference material on tsuba, so I do not have any books that show examples of this type of design. The closest thing I am finding online for a school is Mino, maybe? I am curious what your thoughts are on this and what the period might be too. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The Size: 7.0 x 6.3, Thickness is 0.4cm, 108g. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Quote
AnAmNeSiS Posted September 2, 2017 Author Report Posted September 2, 2017 I have no clue why the pics are set up sideways here when I took the pic upright? Odd. Quote

TETSUGENDO Posted September 3, 2017 Report Posted September 3, 2017 Dave, Try rotating the image before posting. -StevenK Quote
AnAmNeSiS Posted September 3, 2017 Author Report Posted September 3, 2017 Thank you Mark for your reply. No school then, I am assuming? Steven - There was nothing to rotate. It was not taken at 90 degrees. Quote
Brian Posted September 3, 2017 Report Posted September 3, 2017 Yes it was....your phone doesn't have the ability to communicate the orientation with the pc. It's a known thing with all cellphones and pc's. Google it.Always edit and save the pics on your phone first. You'll be surprised to see your own phone rotate images when you edit them. 1 Quote
Geraint Posted September 3, 2017 Report Posted September 3, 2017 Hi Dave. Try a search for Nagoya mono, you should get lots. Or go here, http://www.shibuiswords.com/tsuba.htm#nagoya Scroll down a bit and you'll come to Nagoya. All the best. Quote
AnAmNeSiS Posted September 3, 2017 Author Report Posted September 3, 2017 Geraint - I appreciate your information very much! Thank you. Brian - That is exactly what I did. Took the pic, then put them to my pc, then posted them. There is no rotation before I posted to the board. My other posts of pictures do not have this problem either. Best Wishes Quote
