Ford Hallam Posted June 30, 2017 Report Posted June 30, 2017 Pretty classic Choshu 'Chinese landscape painting' tsuba. Probably second half of the 19th Century. No severe damage by the whole surface is covered in a network of fine rust outbreaks and there's not much life left in what remains of the original patina. Having said that I believe this piece could be 'revived' to about 95.3 % of it's original appearance. 1 Quote
