Assistance is always a personal choice, but we have some who place less conditions on its availability than others. I know the feelings of some on giving help to people who might deal from time to time, but not everyone who sells some of their items is a dealer, and not every dealer is taking advantage either. Personally..I would rather dealers have their info correct when selling, as I may be the one who buys on false listing info, but that is just me I guess. Sometimes the info given allows us to decide if we will keep a blade or pass it on to upgrade to something better. Isn't that what we preach here? Anyways, let's not jump to conclusions, and bear in mind that not everyone is just looking to make a buck. It's a personal choice how we assist, and could be addressed via pm unless someone is really shown to be taking advantage which I haven't seen here. I'd like to think we are all adults here and able to solve our own issues where possible. Brian

I just want add this, remember the Mutsu Tadayoshi board's members told James it seems genius blade this blade was sent to Japan and obtains Hozon papers. This blade is already in sale (and not at a low price for a tired blade) There is also the Rai Kinmichi yondai. So i may be wrong and if it is the case, i apologize, but i'm wondering, and for good reasons. that's all.
James Posted August 16, 2008 Author Report Posted August 16, 2008 Even though I received a hostile and unfriendly PM from Jacques, I'd still like to thank him for the help he generously gave me. But as he has requested, I will never contact him again for any help. Yes, the Mutsu is for sale and is currently being advertised on my website and Darcy B's website also. Jacques has repeatedly told me how I am swindling people by asking that price for it, but as I have already explained to him, I told Darcy to advertise it for whatever price he thought was correct since he is much more aware of market values than I. As for the Yondai Kinmichi being for sale, I think you got a bit mixed up there Jacques. It's listed on my website under 'Restoration Project' and the only reason it is there was for the interest of people who visit my site. Nowhere do I say that it is for sale or will be for sale in the future. Again thanks to the board and specifically to Jacques for the help and time given to me. It really is appreciated.

I do understand that assistance is given voluntarily, and people always have the choice on when and where to give it. While I may not always feel the same way, I won't dictate who, what and when help is given. I do want to emphasise the policy that we would like to know when a blade is being queried for commercial sale. Other than that, and lot can be sorted out via pm.
