This just in!  A Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa tanto.  Nagasa is just over 11".  Excellent horimono, vivid jigane, and a lovely and ACTIVE ko-niedeki hamon.  What's not to like???

Thanks guys! Stumbled on to this little kogatana a couple days ago too. This will make the second kogatana by Shigemasa to add to the collection. This one is a nice little special order piece. Not the best blades in the collection, but you sure don't see them every day.
