Shakudo Daruma Tsuba, Signed Sho-O?

Could you help me find something more about this tsuba. Am I reading the signature right? I bought it is a part of collection and cannot decide If I want to keep it.

This is Hamano Masao 政應 late 18th century. Signed also Masayoshi. John

I do not think it is a Daruma design. I would tend for the chinese philosopher Lao Tszse.

 So this is Hamano Masao (Masayoshi 1764 - 1837) 政應 tsuba made of shibuichi and with Chinese philosopher (probably Lao Tse).  I should probably change topic name:)
