Im going to be making some kinran sword bags out of some recycled obi for some of my blades and was thinking if I have any extra material, would anyone be interested in a bag or two?

Definitely, count me in too.  I especially like the all grey fabric and the one with mokume pattern and waves.....beautiful.  All are very nice.

Machine stiched by hand lol.

Machine stitch will last longer and hold up better over time. These bags are for swords that I plan on passing down through the family, to my kids kids and so on.

UPDATE

I have one Tanto length bag of the gold mokume silk made up for grabs, should fit a 11-12 in overall length tanto.

Also have about 205cm of the mokume silk left, I could make a Tanto bag and a katana bag or 2 wak bags from it.

I have 150cm left of the silver momiji silk, it has an internal lining and is very padded. Can make one Katana bag or one Wak bag, or one tanto bag but that would waste alot of it.

Hello Jay. I'm not exactly sure if there's a "standard" bag length for each type of sword (I imagine there probably is), but the sword that I have no bag for measures 34 inches. How much would you be looking to get for a bag made from the mokume/wave fabric?
