Jean Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 I am still under the shock. Thierry Bernard has been found dead in his appartment by firemen. He probably died last Friday. I saw him during our last sword meeting on the 11th, he was a very good friend. https://www.facebook.com/thierry.bernard.528?ref=ts&fref=ts 2 Quote

Brian Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 Oh no!! I am devastated. Thierry was one of the very, very good guys. Has been a member, friend and supporter since almost the beginning here. This is terrible news. A true collector and nice guy. Jean, according to his profile, he was only about 52? Or was that incorrect? This is very sad. A great loss to the whole community. Jean, will you let the investigators know that the logs show he was active online here on Saturday at 8:30. So whatever happened, happened after that. Very sorry to hear this. RIP Mon Ami. I am moving this out of members-only so that others will see it. Quote

Curran Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 "Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone.Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,Silence the pianos and with muffled drumBring out the coffin, let the mourners come." On an early morning with it dark outside and still 2 hours to sunrise, I am surprised and sad to read this news. Learning that Thierry is suddenly gone, the silence and darkness of this hour weight heavy. 2 Quote
