blackjack Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 More newb questions. I have been reading about papered blades and blades submitted for ratings... Could someone point me to an article explaining the Japanese sword rating system, who does it and what standards a sword is rated against? Quote

Ken-Hawaii Posted March 10, 2017 Report Posted March 10, 2017 Please sign each post with at least your first name, per Brian's rules. Be aware that the rating system is definitely subjective, & is based on the personal experience of the shinsa team members. So although there are generalized standards, their interpretation is personalized. Welcome to the forum. Ken Quote
