Hi guys! Here is a gorgeous wak that I bought a month ago. Better pictures to come, but thought I'd share it.

The blade does have some light scratches and minor surface rust (fingerprints), but most detail can be seen through the wartime polish. The hamon is hard to describe. Looks like Toranba with ko-notare towards the last few inches of ghe ha. Nie particles noted but it almost appears as if there is utsuri as well. Nice itame, albeit coarse, hada. Only a minor microchip near the center, but when removing the habaki (which was very tight), I noted another chip on the hamachi. Only used my fingers, so doubting it came from me, I pray...

The mounts are nice, especially the saya, but the real neat thing is that it is a normal katana length (fice inches longer for the saya and about three or so for the tsuka. I've hard of this before and the blade fits perfectly! More pics and measurements to come!

Those mountings are in very good condition, especially the tsuka ito. I believe this would be a very beautiful blade in full polish.

You got a very fine deal on this piece, thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! Thankfully, most features can be seen under it's current polish but will let y'all take a look when I get some photos for it. The only issue may be the chip on the hamachi. The habaki really was a pain to get off, but is now a tad bit loose as I don't want to force it on there. Can still see the untainted polish under it, however!
