CSM101 Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 Dear Members, this is a chance to proof your own skills in kantei again, before the real changelling kantei from Rayhan can start. Good idea, by the way. So: nagasa 53,3 cm, motohaba 3,5 cm, sakihaba 2,7 cm, yasurime osujikai. On the omote is a long signature close to the mune and another inscription in gold. Weight: 660 g. I will post the answer 12.02. Good luck! Uwe G. Quote

Guest Rayhan Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 Are all Wakizashi signed Katana Mei? Quote
Guest Rayhan Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 Let's give a guess: First guess would be Echigo no Kami Kanesada based on beautiful undulating Hamon and the Nakago shape. Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi is the most likely though- Hamon fits well- shape and Nakago ok with the headache i lean to Tanba No Kami Yoshimichi - my guess Quote
Bazza Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 The minute I saw the yakiba suggesting a sudareba hamon I thought of the sandai Osaka Yoshimichi. It looks like, as best I can see, very similar to a sword I have held in my hand. BaZZa. Quote
CSM101 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Report Posted February 12, 2017 And the answer is: Tamba no Kami Yoshimichi. Uwe G. 1 Quote
