You've certainly picked the bottom of the bottom to feed on Stephen in a mumei shinto wak :D

But it's in a reasonable state of polish, with shirasaya so depends on price. Better than 90% of the crap on ebay anyhoo.

What is a sut up? Sometimes Christian your English baffles me. :dunno: Nice score for $500 Stephen.....crabs feed on the bottom and cost $25.00 per pound anyway.....

Of course it's a good find. No fukure or ugly grain, good condition. Seen people pick up rusty lumps for more.

Think you did well. Christian means well..I think he's expecting to see a Yoshimichi or Shinkai for dirt cheap.
Not realizing that a lot of us are happy with finding $1000 swords for $500, or a $500 sword for $200....it's all relative.
Someone finding a $100K Tokuju for $50K is just as happy.
Realitivity. It's not just a theory... :glee:

I agree with Josh, money well spent.  Nothing left to do but pull it off the shelf once in awhile and admire it.   I bet the guy who made it would say it is worth more than 500 Obama bucks.

By definition mei removal is hard to see. I think I see suriage Maybe a few inches, but if so it was don long ago. Maybe the infamous breaking at the original mekugi Ana, as this was common I think.

Sut up... steve's post had me laughing, but Christian's posts and his playful use of English usually do the same. ????
