i konw the name but it was uncertain Yoshisada and the year 1944. confirm is possible ?

i'm searching a stamp but there are not any. why ?

i tooking only one side ( the other side was the same but taking a pic of hamon was very diffcult, hamon was nice however.

 

i knot a sageo for prevent the opening of saya

Your date if correct- 1944. Someone else will have to confirm the smith name for you.

 

Nice gunto, the saga looks like it probably originally had a leather cover. The belt hanger style and fuchi style are typical of that. Many gunto didn't have stamps, don't know why. It isn't unusual though.

Hi Ken,

Your signature doesn't match either of those in the link you posted.  Given the chippiness of your signature it is unlikely that anything is known about the man who signed your sword.  By chippiness I mean the cat scratch quality of the calligraphy.  Most Gunto were made by untrained laborers, about whom little or nothing is known, and their signatures often have this inelegant look.
