No problem watching Aljazeera, but, I can't watch SNL's Trump satire. What's up with that? One of the ways to identify fakes was the luminescence test, now that is able to be faked as well. John

That was very interesting, although much of this forging 'industry' is know - not only in China, but also in Mexico and South America.

you are all welcome.  After seeing how well the cast Dragon Daisho Tsuba (s) were made on the other thread, I thought that this was very relevent.  

 

Luckily to produce a nihonto is well out of the skill range of 99.99 percent.

 

However at the other end of the spectrum is this....

More like terrifying. Thank goodness that militaria is not valuable enough for high end fakes (mostly) and nihonto for the most part are too difficult and expensive.
