Menuki For Kagome Theme Build

I've been looking online for a few weeks, but haven't quite seen what I am looking for.  I am working on a set of koshirae in the theme of Kagome Kagome.  The tsuba has a rattan bird cage that a flying bird has escaped from.  I picked up a crane/turtle themed matched fuchi/kashira set and am on the hunt for the menuki.  I would like something like birds flying or on a branch since on the tsuba, the bird is fairly small and the crane/turtle I have represented pretty well on the fuchi/kashira.

 

I am looking for something bird related with some (doesn't have to be a lot!) gold plating/foil to match with the F/K and in the under $300 price range preferably.  I am even OK with non matched pieces, like a large flying bird for one side and an empty bird cage for the other side, or 1 flying bird and and one birds on a branch, etc.  Trying to stay with antique items instead of new repro's in the theme of Kagome Kagome (the song).  Maybe something with the moon represented would work as well since the song talks about the night of dawn?  I guess an Oni would work as a menuki as well according to what I am seeing with the song?
