Hi Stephen

If it was cheaper it would be great to take it to a Nihonto meeting claiming something like the amazing coloured hamon

Then sit back and watch the fun

Considering that the history of sword making in Lóngquán goes goes back 2,600 years when the town was founded in the Spring & Autumn Period, this is really a travesty. But then again, not that much different from Japanese sword smiths producing fantasy weapons featured in comic books.

When considering provenance and rarity as mentioned in an earlier post - the indication that3 were available and 2 sold is not a good thing
