BenVK Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 I've seen quite a few abused blades but this one currently on ebay nearly made me cry, looks like someone attacked it with an angle grinder!! poor thing. The usual suspects are wire wool and sandpaper but I've also seen a few that have been spray painted! One in particular I remember was sprayed gold...weird! What's the worst you've seen? Quote

BenVK Posted July 15, 2016 Author Report Posted July 15, 2016 Yeah, a bit of Pikal will sort it out! Seriously though, that's an amazing photo, clearly shows that the softer core metal didn't bind with the outer harder case. Quote

Stephen Posted July 17, 2016 Report Posted July 17, 2016 I suspect those in favor have not had swords sent back or stopped in mid stream, go with Franco's advice, have a togi look at in hand. Quote
nagamaki - Franco Posted July 17, 2016 Report Posted July 17, 2016 Hello, Although one can think up of multiple reasons for consulting and choosing an excellent polisher with a blade like the subject blade, chances are you're going to only get one shot to save the blade. Which means a polisher who does outstanding foundation work in addition to finishing. Quote
javier Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 This blade is currently on sale in yahoo Japan Quote
