Fujita Makoto is kind of a Japanese Gene Hackman: he can play almost any role convincingly. But Oda Yuji as Sanjuro??? Gimme a break! You won't see *me* at the movie theater tomorrow - I'll probably be at home, watching the original movie on DVD ...

Have to wait 6 months for the Japanese R2 DVD release and hope they do English subs. :cry:

 

Still waiting for a DVD release of Ore wa, kimi no tame ni koso shini ni iku with English subs. You would think the distributors would be smart enough to realise they would sell a lot more copies if they included english subs.
