Joi Kozuka Opinion

The mei of this kozuka has been translated here in the forum as 乗意 Jyōi

Even if it is nice and caving include detail such as leg or arm bristle, I tend to think it is gimei.

First of all, because Joi is a big name that has numerous gimei aénd mei seems do not match real one, also the seal is carved and not in golden writing.

The last, but not the least, the carving quality is not as good as genuine examples.

 

Nevertheless, I would appreciate your opinion on this kozuka.
