vajo Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Some Pics of offers from chinese fake swords at eGun (they look very unique) http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5903996#img http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5904013 http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5904021 At the description they say they are unique. I told that eGun that these are false. But no response. Quote
Tokaido Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Hi, see this topic: http://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/topic/19167-nihonto-or-fake/ Swords most likely are genuine objects, but it is most doubtfull that the "seller" have them in his posession. No needs for more allerts about China based sellers on egun I guess anyone on this board will be aware of "buyer beware" on offers like those ones... Greetings Andreas Quote
Gasam Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Heyas, If fakes are this good, its annoyingly scary.. Ah, edit, just saw the other replies.. Quote

Wait todays the second NOT April fools day...is that what this is?? edit didnt read all the post, yep we've been here before Quote
vajo Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Posted April 2, 2016 Thats very good imitations in my opinion. I didn't notice the other thread, sorry.Maybe it is an opinion to make a pinned thread about chinese fake swords with a picture database?I think it is a honorable fight against this crime to warn every collector about this.At the moment they sell it fresh from the shop. But near in the future the first will circulate between the collectors? Edit: Ah ok i understand. For me it is not important what other think about myself. I have a meaning. And i didn't like it when things will be declared as unique. @Andy You think you are an expert. Ok, but others are not. Whats your problem with a warning about such offers on eGun where many Germans buy things? You know that Ebay Germany don't allow to sell swords. EGun ist the only plattform in Germany to buy and sell weapons. Quote
uwe Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Thats very good imitations in my opinion.........Chris, these are by no means imitations!!! PS: Otherwise, I promise to "eat my shorts " ...... to say it with Bart Simpson Quote

Kai-Gunto Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 swords are real , but fraud sellers. They dont have the swords! Quote
Stephen Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Chris You need to look at more real swords, they are not imitations, Real Nihonto. The seller is stealing photos off the net and putting on sale to rip off buyers. What concerns me is what makes you think there Chinese copys, please tell us why? Quote
Stephen Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) I think were losing a lot in translation. edit to answer you question....they are Tachi. look at Aoi Art at pics of each sword learn more Edited April 2, 2016 by Stephen Quote
Brian Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Also don't understand. These are real (and nice) swords. Perhaps it is fraud, where the sellers don't have the item. Maybe not. But not fakes, and not from China. Quote

EGun ist the only plattform in Germany to buy and sell weapons. Hi Chris and everone else, I guess Stephen ist right. We may suffer from translation. I'm not a native english speaker, so my command of english isn't the best. I try simple words: those swords are genuine Japanese swords, most likely. The "seller" may have stolen the pictures from somewhere else in the internet. Search yahoo Japan vor example, maybe you will find exacly those pictures in those auctions. Greetings Andreas Quote
vajo Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Posted April 2, 2016 Thank you all for the answer. Now i also understand. It's not ever easy in life Quote
Stephen Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 Well the seller has zero feedback should always be a red flag to start Quote
