Samurai Gloves

They look just like any pair of riding gloves. They aren't old as they still seem to be fairly supple. Leather tends to stiffen with age. They are called Kawatebukuro, funny as it means 'leather hand bag', but, In German they call them 'Handschuhe', so who's to judge? I have heard them called Yugake, although originally for archery it seems a general term now. John
