Gents, I would appreciate any help to translate this Mei and provide any other relevant information. I'm afraid I do not own the sword so can not take better pictures.

looks like Katsumitsu. not much to say, there were dozens, maybe 100's of smiths using that name, would need a close examination to make any accurate estimations. There were a lot of makers using that name in Bizen in the 1500's.

Mark, many thanks for taking the time to reply. I had tried to translate via the web but couldnt match the first kanji based on the photograph.

I will try do find somemore info online about the Katsumitsu smiths.
