kissakai Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Hi I may be too early yet to add this post but I get excited when thinking of buying a katana so I’m just testing the water. Replies are better via my email although I will read any PM’s: grev.cooke@ntlworld.com At the moment my budget is £3.5k ($5.2k). This would include all fees including P&P and import duty I will be selling 2 more swords so this could go up to £5k (7.5k) but I don’t expect the extra money for a couple of months yet General requirements Ubu Japanese polish No damage or reshaping Pre 1800 With koshirae rather than bare or shirasaya It doesn't need to be signed but papers are a real bonus or the guarantee that it would 'paper' I prefer a slender form rather than a heavy sword I live just outside Coventry (central England) and buying in the UK would beneficial Please note that I will seek advice on any katana I'm interested in from NMB members via a PM or an actual post with descriptions and images This for me is a massive financial undertaking so I need to be cautious Grev UK
