b.hennick Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 I suggest that you polish the cut end so that you can see the structure of the blade. It is not that difficult to do and you learn a little more about it. I used a belt sander with several grade of of finer and finer sandpaper and finally some finger stones to bring out the structure.
