It's nagamura kiyonobu (I believe - but the pics make it tough to see).

I see what you're saying Stev, but look at the style of the "nobu" kanji in this oshigata (http://www.japaneseswordindex.com/oshigata/kiyonobu.jpg).

For those who are curious, 宣 can be read as both nobu and nori (and a million other ways). He's a Showa smith, so you'd think there would be more information on him, particularly how to pronounce his name.
