It's a genuine nihonto (the blade you are holding in the pics). Other than that, nothing else can be determined from the pictures. My best  guess:

 

Value: It's worth anywhere between 1 USD and $1,000,000 USD.

Evaluation: It needs care.

History: It's between 150 years old to 800 years old.

Even with a lot of excellent, focused, zoomed-in photos, an assessment is difficult at best. With 4 photos of the blade shown, any real assessment is IMPOSSIBLE.

Yes, I already stipulated that it's a genuine nihonto. Beyond that ...

Is there a signature on the nakago? (tang of the sword) Might be a start if there is one, at the moment your hand is covering this area on the photo. Try taking a photos with all the fittings removed.

 

Would recommend you look at other posts on the forum to get an idea of how to take better photo's
