lonely panet Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 the last one has me thinking about the mei, and the look of the age of the rust.????
Mark Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 they look fine to me. You see a lot of variation in Showa swords and Chris is the seller and he knows gendai so i am sure they are genuine. If i have a question about a gendai Chris is the person i would ask.
cabowen Posted September 2, 2015 Author Report Posted September 2, 2015 I absolutely, unequivocally, guarantee the mei on both of these swords as genuine. The Kiyokane, as noted in the description, has some glue residue on the nakago which might be what looks a bit odd. Thanks Mark for the kind words. Any further questions, please email me.
