peterd Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 Hi everyone, Is anyone able to translate the last Kanji on this Tsuba? I have a couple of ideas. I don't think that it can be 'Katana' for obvious reasons but it could be 'carved by' or maybe a 'Kao'. Let me know what you think and any comments on the Tsuba are very welcome. Many thanks, Pete Quote

Kurikata Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Please refer to one example sold at a French auction House in April this year: Quote
Surfson Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 First one of these that I saw was at Sotheby's at least 25 years ago. Classic design. Quote
