Amada Sadayoshi

Hi Guys

 

Does anyone have any information Oshigata for the Gendai smith Amada Sadayoshi.

So far I've only found one signature (on the board resource) Echigo Kuni Ju Amada Sadayoshi (which matches the signature on my blade) and the NBTHK article on Admiral Yamamoto and Sadsyoshi.

I know that he died at the young age of 38,I believe that was in 1938,my sword is dated but I've yet to

translate it.

 

Any assistance would be welcome

Tony, your sword is not Sadayoshi its Sadaroku who is a student of Sadayoshi.

Yes I was the person who first acquired it.

I figured that was the case, the signature is a bit rusted so I took the provenance at face value.
