Thats a hard nut to crack, its kinda like going to goodwill and finding used shoes to fit, you may find one but might be tight in one area and lose in another. One at a time on the net? hope you have some time, at a sword show i must have went thru a few dozen before i found one that fits my wakizashi.

Hi Stephen,

Yeah I realise its a gamble, I have a couple koshirae and a couple blades similar sizes but if I cant get a good fit im happy to hang onto them as collection pieces and maybe one day they may be of use. Im hoping to find something not too expensive but we will see. Thank you for your input though I do appreciate it.

Hi Stephen I had a look at the ebay habaki you showed me and it would have been ok but a bit small unfortunately. I should have put a minimum size in my post last night. Wasn't thinking too well, I was very tired from work :-? .I think it would need to be 31-33mm wide.Thank very much for your time.

Ah, I see. If you were in the states would just ship you a few to see if one fit then send the others back with $20 for the one you kept.

Have you tried Doug at guntoartswords.com?

Hi Brandon, I just had a look gutoartswords and couldn't see any. Shame about the distance and the hassle that comes with it but thanks anyway that's very nice of you. Thanks
