Guido Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Ura: 寛文九年四月十一日 貳ツ胴切落 人見傳兵衛重次 (kaō) (Kambun 9'th year 4'th month 11'th day - cut two bodies - Hitomi Dembē Shigetsugu) Could you post a clearer picture of the omote? It's the name of the sword (笹の雪 - sasa no yuki) and looks to be followed by the name of the owner, but it's hard to make out in the photo/oshigata. Quote
k morita Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Hi, Omote side mei says "Sasa-no-tsuyu(nickname of this sword),owned by Kikuchi Magozaemon,in Kii province." 笹の露 紀伊菊池孫左衛門所持 Quote
Guido Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Sasa-no-tsuyu 笹の露 I have to agree, it's indeed more likely tsuyu than yuki. Plus, you have much better eyesight than me (or a better monitor) ! Quote
Griffero Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 As do I learn to check price of the katana? Example: that price has this katana? Quote
