Thanks, Jean.  I was fairly sure that the "koku" wasn't correct.  I'm looking forward to getting the blade to see if it's what I think it is.

There are two ways to read this mei, both are acceptable:

 

Bizen koku jū Kagemitsu

 

Bizen no kuni no jū Kagemitsu

 

However, one should not mix these reading styles, it's either koku jū or no kuni no jū. The NBTHK, btw & fwiw, preferres the second type of reading; they also use yoki-wazamono insead of ryō-wazamono.

Okay, I just got the blade in from Japan, & it's everything I hoped for.

 

However, there is a small sayagaki in a strange place, on the mune side almost at the tip. And I can't read it, so any help would be appreciated:
