Hi guys,

I was contacted by someone who will remain nameless who claims to have in the US a sword in polish and shira-saya, with paper and koshirae, for sale at a very reasonable price.  I won't have to pay for the sword until I've seen it and approve; I just have to send the money to something called Skrill, which will return it to me if I decide not to buy the sword.  I asked if a friend could stop by to look and buy but he said he's in Spain at the moment.  I said if he's in Spain he can't ship the sword anyway so what's the rush; he said his maid could mail the sword.  When I said my friend could pay the maid he said he needs the money in Spain.

I suspect this is a scam and also that I'm not the only recipient.  The sword was on ebay for a couple days and I bet everyone who asked about it got the offer.  The sword is signed Hizen Kuni Junin Moritoshi, and a picture is below.

If you've received the same come on please tell us about it.  Anyone know how he can game Skrill to grab the money?

I have a PM from another member who got the same offer; obviously a scam.

So I told the guy I'd meet him in Spain.  I'd take my jet, stop along the way to pick up the sword and the maid, and join him for late lunch Tuesday in Barcelona.
