Ed Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Any members attending the Atlanta Blade Show June 5-7 ?? http://www.bladeshow.com/ Quote
reeder Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Does it have much militaria? From the picture I could find online it looks like all new custom knife makers. Quote
Ed Posted May 19, 2015 Author Report Posted May 19, 2015 No, not a militaria themed show, a blade show. Mostly custom and tactical stuff. There are a few dealers with vintage/antique knives. A few Japanese style swordsmiths and some of the modern production stuff like Bugei/Paul Chen. Or at least there have been in the past. I noticed there are several Japanese knife makers named on the exhibitors list, but I am unsure of what exactly they specialize in. I have been a few times as I have family to visit in the area, It is the largest blade show in the country with over 800 exhibitors, so lots and lots of knives and stuff to look at. Makes for a fun day. 1 Quote
nihonto1001 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I did not go. The tables are steeply priced at over $500. I heard it was good though. Maybe next year I'll drive up there as a spectator. Are you going to be at the Orlando Sword Show this month Ed? Quote
