One of my clients has a business that is winding down and his wife is in poor health and has asked me to find owners for some of his swords.

They are mostly signed Kamakura tachi by Sai-jo saku smiths in excess of 70cm and Juyo or Tokubetsu Juyo. The Juyo items look to easily qualify for Tokubetsu Juyo submission. He is a quiet collector that nobody knows about and built up a small collection based on quality.

I asked the mods if I could get special permission to post this one, as they are rare to unique types of blades by top level smiths (any signed Kamakura tachi is hard enough to find). I can't wave the names and prices around in public (yet), but they are six figure swords. The swords are in the USA. They have not been on any websites. One has been seen by a few people some years ago as I had it during a photography session. But mostly they are never seen and never to market.

When posting like this immediately there is some tire kicking curiosity, I'd like to caution in advance that I can't give out details unless someone is seriously looking to purchase. They will be available to be seen though in San Francisco via Ted (I will not be there) but possibly by appointment only for some of them. I'll ask Ted to put on exhibit what we can because they are museum level pieces.

He is not liquidating in an emergency but wants a calm deallocation and to cover what he paid in for his collection and can wait. So bear in mind that signed Sai-jo Kamakura tachi come with commensurate prices. If you have interest in something rare and special please contact me via my website.

Requesting again: please no tire kicking or curiosity requests... hopefully those can be satisfied by having a look at Ted's table in San Francisco so just some patience is required for that.
