Sloughs book "Modern Japanese Swordsmiths" lists a (Furukawa) Kanesada. Rates him @ 3.8 million yen (quite high), superior grade gendaito. Born 1837, worked from 1852 thru 1874. Doubtful this is your Kanesada in view of the 1943 date. "Tosho Banzuke" (list of 400+- gunto smiths) lists a Takahashi Kanesada-rated "Ge Saku"and Okada Kanesada-rated "Chuge Saku". Yor blade is most likely showa-to, non traditionally forged (wartime), oil quenched blade. Photo's of blade, nakago/mei are in order.
