question on naginata shape (chinese fake)

Hiya'll i stumbled across this one and thought the shape would be fairly allright for re-enactment purpouses.....

 

what do you think? is this shape useable/fairly correct? of course i'd need to drill a nice mekugi ana...

 

but for re-enactment its better to get a fairly looking replica than a real nihonto/nihonnaginata...IMHO

I have found a scabbard for this lovely naginata, check the post :

You have a splendid picture posted by Koichi of a horseman with a splendid tachi scabbard which could fit this blade (after reshaping a bit ...).

 

Of course the saya has to be adapted, which means it has to be opened lengthwise in order to sheath this worthy inhereitance from the past glorious days :D :D :D

Hey Jean, well it sure does look the part...!

 

however its supposed to be on top of a pole for my SoHei depiction...

 

(if only I know how to get the small stripe above the o ! i wouldnt misspell anymore)
