I pretty much know what the poem ( 5 characters per line )says........

can anyone translate that to Nihongo ( as spoken )?

the meaning, roughly................

tiger reigns supreme among the beasts

who dares to anger him ?

Only love from father towards son ( child)

Looking back every step made ( like really care )

followed by smaller kanji which is the artist's name and seal

milt the ronin

I will give it a try.

The score may be less than 60 %, as I know very little about the orthodox Japanese readings for classical Chinese.

虎為群獣尊 (tora wa gunju no son wo nasu) :?: :?:

誰敢触其怒 (tare ga aete sono ikari ni fureyouka) :?:

唯有父子情 (tada fushi no jo aru nomi) :?:

一歩一回顧 (ippo ikkai kaerimiru) :?: :?: :?:

Koichi-san,

You must had a hard time with thatclassical Chinese poem translation and with bonsai scissor query. I admire all your efforts. Hope the temperature will cool down a bit in Tokyo tomorrow. It's too damm hot. I look forward seeing you again at the next NMB meeting sometime in the fall . Gambate. All the best,

P.S. My fingers are itching to see that "almost" ubu Nobumitsu at Aoi, but I think it's a bit overpriced.
