Peter Bleed Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 Dear Friends, Please allow me to ask a couple of library related question of the NMB. 1. Can anyone tell if there is a library outside of Japan that has – and maintains - Token Bijutsu and Rei? 2. Given the growth of digital techniques, does the “western” collecting community feel that it would be worthwhile having a set of these series in a library? Thank you. Peter Quote

John A Stuart Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 I for one wish they had digital editions. My book shelfs are groaning under the weight and I can't even hope to find past articles. John Quote
cabowen Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 I have heard that lots of people in Japan are scanning books into digital form then selling the hard copies. With the small size of most Japanese homes/apts/"mansions", it makes a lot of sense... Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted October 16, 2014 Report Posted October 16, 2014 You could try the University Library of Leiden. No guarantee but the collection of the Japanese faculty is extensive : http://www.library.leiden.edu/ Quote
