Hi, heres a picture of a sword rack that we just made out of tiger wood. The picture doesn't do the wood justice, it is just beautiful.

The katana is a Morihisa Kozori school, from 1432 with Hozon papers.

The wakizashi is a Masakuni, from 1850 with Kanteisho papers.

The tsuba is a Nara school tsuba, with 73 points NBTHK paper.

Anyway, I'm pretty proud of it and I wanted to thank everyone for all the info. I have learned so much in such a short period of time.

Hi Mike,

I was wondering where you got that rack from. I have been in the market for a nice rack. I haven't come across as nice as that. How can I get on similar?

Mike, do you have the construction drawings for this rack? I'm assuming you built it yourself. If you're willing to send them to me, I'll convert them into several formats that everyone can use, & send them to anyone who asks.

There's lots of beautiful woods out here in Hawaii (koa, milo, etc.), & I've been looking for a new rack design to install in my sword case. Thanks in advance.

Now that's a nice rack. I'm in the process of buying my first house and a rack like that would look great. It would also keep them out of the way of my monster kitten (whom I have to hide all things of value from). So if you feel like taking an order or someone knows where I can get one similar let me know.
