I've got an iron tsuba with copper Carp. In 4th KTK book (page 52) there is similar motif but it looks very different. Anyone has an idea regarding when/where my tsuba was made and by which school?

Thanks.

Sergei

Let's assume it is heisei area :?

Hi Sebastien V.,

Which island is the Heisei area located? LOL :rotfl:

Just joking and putting all jokes aside. I would agree a modern Japanese work done in the Shimizu-Jingo school style of Higo Provience. I like the one found along the Silk Road much better.

Sorry for my poor english  , I would like to said "era"

Sergei, the joke was because I wroke area instead of era. but to summarize, your tsuba is modern.

Sebastien,

Don't be ashamed, even our American friends are sometimes laxist in their idioma. Talking about hada, you cannot imagine how many times I have seen written "course" instead of "coarse"... :)

Hi Everyone,

Just kidding I make so many typos all the time. The iPhone autocorrect also sometimes messes me up big time in funny ways.
