Hi all,

I´m just back from my holidays and hopefully expected to receive an email on the outcome of a Shinsa.

But obviously it takes quite some time for the NBTHK to communicate the results.

The sword in question was bought at the beginning of March and I asked the dealer to present it to the next Tokubetsu Hozon Shinsa.

Upon request the dealer told me to be patient.

Does anybody have any experience to share on how long it usually takes to get the Shinsa result and the papers?

thanks in advance,

Martin

Martin,

a friend of mine bought a sword last month from AOI-Art and asked them to submit to the NBTHK. They were happy to do this but said owing to the backlog of submissions he would not get the sword (or result) until October. They were quoting approx 6 months from submission.

Interested if this has been others experience.

regards

Paul

Oh yeah. The results of the last few items I submitted took forever to get. I was told it was due to the incredibly large numbers items being submitted.

All you can do is be patient, the results are slow, the papers slower.
