I hope that you will tell all the folks down in the Ozarks that there is a Shinsa coming. Sadly not this year but next and not too far off. The NTHK (under Yoshikawa Eiichi Sensei) has accepted the invitation to hold a shinsa at the Chicago Sword Show next April. Full details will be announced in another posting, you may of course check here; http://www.toryu-mon.com for info.

Chris, the shinsa you had in Minneapolis was great. Hope you can do that one again. Cheers, Bob

Thanks Bob....It looks though like the next NTHK-NPO shinsa will be in 2016 in Tampa.

Hi Chris,

from your Kind of experience, is there a Chance for a EU shinsa?

Who is able and willing to organize a First Time shinsa in Europe?

Dealer Business or NBTHK Business, You Spoke about 300 items for a shinsa?

No Break Even in Sight, Border Problems, ......

Best Regards

I have been asked several times to hold a shinsa in the EU. There are many issues, as you note, to contend with. I would like to see it happen and I think it will happen at some point, but later, rather than earlier.
