NTHK-NPO has indicated to me that they would be agreeable to a US shinsa in 2016.....venue to be decided....

first let me say I attended the shinsa this past feb. in Florida and Chris as well as everyone else did a superb job well done I cant wait for the 2016 shinsa ,might I add a Northern location would be amazing for us folks up north :D hint hint jab jab :lol: Jeremy scott

I hope that you will tell all the folks down in the Ozarks that there is a Shinsa coming. Sadly not this year but next and not too far off. The NTHK (under Yoshikawa Eiichi Sensei) has accepted the invitation to hold a shinsa at the Chicago Sword Show next April. I have been asked several times to hold a shinsa in the EU. There are many issues, as you note, to contend with. I would like to see it happen and I think it will happen at some point, but later, rather than earlier.
