Lest we forget, take a moment out of your busy holiday to remember the reason for the day and all the men and women living and dead in the military who have kept us free.Without their sacrifice there would be no such indulgence as a hobby any hobby.God Bless The USA

Our official Rememberance Day is November 11. For those who lost one in war every day is rememberance day. If I could find the smiley that Brian used I would add it.

We must also remember those who returned injured both physically and psychologically. PTSD is an awful burden that many soldiers carry.

Dear All,

Coming from a Military background going back to at least my Great Great Grandfather, ... I think my Uncle Fred who served with the Strathcona Horse ( tank regiment ) in Sicily and Italy during WWII summed it up, ... the best way to fight a war is to: " Arm the Politicians who start them and so eagerly send boys to do their dirty business and then see how many wars are quickly averted ".
