Hi folks,

Does anybody have the 1927 published three-volume Imamura-oshigata (今村押形) at hand?

I am looking for a Muramasa blade with a kinzogan-mei stating that it was a present from the

Kanpaku Toyotomi Hidetsugu to Muto Nagato no Kami.

If so, please PM me. Thank you all for your attention. :thanks:

Hi, :D

Of course, I have Imamura-oshigata all 3 Vol.

Since Imamura Oshigata is written by fully cursive style, you cannot read almost.

Only the Omote-side of the tang-oshigata of this Muramasa sword appears on Imamura-oshigata (on #2 vol, page 13).

The oshigata of another side does not appear on Imamura oshigata.

But, he(Imamua) recorded the golden inlay as " 前関白秀次公ヨリ武藤長門守拝領之" on Imamra oshigata.

It says "this was a present from the former Kanpaku Toyotomi Hidetsugu to Muto Nagato no Kami".

Thank you very much Morita san!

Would you mind sending me a scan of the pages in question?

I am preparing material for my next publication on tameshigiri

at the moment and all I have is the entry in Fukunaga´s

Kubikiri Asaemon Token Oshigata and the rather low-quality

pic (p. 22, volume 1).

:thanks:
