Help translating sayagaki and author

Hello everyone, I'm new to collecting and to this forum. Currently living in Okinawa Japan and recently purchased a katana and two wakizashi from a dealer.

 

I work with a lot of Japanese and Okinawan people and they cannot figure out the last part of this sayagaki. They get as far as Showa and the end a beautiful day in November maybe. We are stuck on the second and fourth character. They tell me that it is very old kanji or maybe a Chinese character.

 

I know it's a date, but what date and is it the date of the judgement?

 

Also, does anyone know who wrote it from the signature or inkan?

 

It is a nidai Sasaki Nydo Ippo wakizashi.

Strange they can't read it...ShoWa yon-ju roku Ka-no-to-I nen Ju-ichi gatsu kichi nichi (Showa 46 Boar year 11th month a lucky day which is Nov. 1971).

Not sure of the rest.
