Christophe Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 I found this kozuka in a free market for 100 yens. The Mt Fuji is in silver. I tried to found here in Japan a craftsman for eventually restore it but without success. Someone have any idea ? I do not think I have the ability to do it. All suggestions and comments welcome. Thanks in advance. Christophe Quote

Christophe Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 I was thinking about him, everythings depend of the value of the kozuke. I will try to contact him through his website, perhaps I can get his opinion. Thanks Stephen Quote
Ford Hallam Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Hello Christophe Your Kozuka can certainly be restored almost perfectly. However, the signature appears to be a poor attempt to emulate one of the Goto masters so the cost vs the eventual value of the restored piece may make the exercise cost prohibitive. Kind regards Ford P.s. I did receive your email, thank you. Quote
