Stephen V Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Hello all I'm off to sunny (make that very wet) Vietnam tomorrow for a few weeks. Is there any recognised museums or other commercial businesses that are worth a look at in regard to nihonto? I'm assuming not, but thought I would ask just on the off chance. Cheers Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 not that i am aware of, however if you really want to dive into history i would most certainly visit the Chu Chi museum with its VC tunnels, Da Nang, Saigon and all places where there have been battles... have a lovely trip! KM Quote
Brian Hancock Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Hi Stephen,Vietnam is fantastic. I was there for a month in April 2000. If you get a chance go to Hue and the Imperial City. Hoi-An is very nice also its where I based my self.Great food, very cheap made to measure clothes.I met a lot of Aussies and Americans there.Hanoi is cool too.Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Quote
