John A Stuart Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Who did the polish? Woody from Bob's stable? Much better presentation now. Satisfaction having it done? John Quote
Cello Posted April 19, 2014 Author Report Posted April 19, 2014 The work was done by Moses .....and yes Very satisfied to own a proper sword finally Quote
cabowen Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Point the blade towards a bare, round, incandescent light bulb. Hold the blade so that you can find the reflection of the bulb in the blade. Now slowly move the blade slightly so you "walk" the reflection of the bulb down the blade from one end to the other. Watch the reflection of the round bulb as it moves down the blade- does the reflection stay round or does it distort in and out of round every 4-6 inches or so as you "move" the reflection down the blade? Cello Posted April 19, 2014 Author Report Posted April 19, 2014 Will do.... I looked for any waves or ripples did not see any but haven't tried this method Quote
J Reid Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Looks great! I'm a huge fan of this smith and think his works have lots of character. Quote
