Guido Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 Are you really sure you want to post this, Stephen? They say "throw away the piece of paper" - it's only a matter of time until a certain NMB member will complain that they didn't recycle the paper ... Quote

Ken-Hawaii Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 The Kashima Web-site is the one I've been using, & haven't had any complaints from either of my Sensei. Ken Quote
Dr Fox Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 This although sounds and looks simple. But its also has to look right. It took me ages to discover the secret. This will not be news, to the senior and most learned of our members. It is all in the material of the sageo, the supple sageo for tying around the waist, I find too supple. the type that is stiff, and unyielding is ideal, it stays where its first folded and presents a better appearance on the saya. Conversely the supple sageo does its best to imitate a Mexican moustache. This is of course from someone, who does not use a sword for physical disciplines, but tries to achieve a 'show' effect only.
